Go to the wiki home page (or a page that's in your category (sales, MKT, Etc) ).
Click New Page in the top‑right corner (or the page‑plus icon).
A dialog opens asking for language and path.
The path is the URL for your page and decides which “folder” it appears in.
In the Path field, type a clear, simple path, for example:
people/dylan-lepage
projects/customer-x/onboarding
how-to/request-hardware
Follow these rules:
No spaces (use dashes instead, e.g. request-hardware).
No trailing slash at the end (use projects/customer-x/onboarding, NOT projects/customer-x/onboarding/).
You don’t need to create folders first; they are created automatically from the path.
When you’re done, click Select to move on.
You now choose how you’ll write the page.
For most employees, choose Visual Editor (sometimes called WYSIWYG).
This works like a normal text editor: you can format text, make lists, headings, etc. without code.
Technical users can use Markdown if they prefer.
Select your editor and confirm. Remember: you usually keep the same editor for this page later on.
Next, you’ll see a Page Properties dialog.
Fill in:
Title – a clear name people will see, e.g. “How to Request New Hardware”
(OPTIONAL) Description – 1–2 sentences about what the page is for. This helps when people search.
(OPTIONAL) Tags – keywords such as hardware, IT, how-to, onboarding. Tags make pages easier to find by topic.
Click OK when finished.
You’re now in the editor with a blank page.
Write shit.
Your page does not exist in the wiki until you create it.
When you’re ready, click the Create button in the top‑right corner (usually green).
The page is saved and you’re redirected to the published version.
To change it later, click Edit at the top of the page.
Use clear, descriptive titles and paths.
Check if a similar page already exists before creating a new one.
Keep content up to date and remove outdated instructions.
